2010 Reference for www.FlamePointCat.com Cattery

In early March 2010 I purchased a 4 month old Flame Point Himalayan Kitten from FlamePointCat.com Cattery. I had been checking their website for several years and was very impressed. 

When I contacted one of the breeders, she was VERY honest, helpful and knowledgeable in every respect. My kitten was absolutely wonderful,  beautiful, calm and sweet. When I got home, the kitten came in like she lived there. She was curious, friendly and playful and adjusted very well.

I’ve had one Himalayan and one Persian prior to this and neither was as socialized as the kitten I got from Flame Point Cat.  This kitten is so sweet and loving that she literally follows me from room to room. I cannot emphasize enough how well-socialized the kitten is. When I have visitors, she walks right up to them and welcoming. She loves to play, yet in the middle of her fun I can pick her up and hug her and she doesn’t scratch or attempt to get away. She is the sweetest and most beautiful kitten I have ever owned!

Flame Point Cat Cattery Breeders are honest, excellent, and knowledgeable breeders who are very loving in the raising of their kittens. If you are a responsible pet owner and want to purchase a Himalayan kitten, then I highly recommend Flame Point Cat.  They is also very fair in their pricing, especially in view of her competitors who charge in excess of $2000 and have continued to be just a phone call away.  I cannot say enough about how happy I am that I purchased my kitten from Flame Point Cat.  They are THE BEST!!!!!!!! We respect all of our "mentors" who raised purebred Persians and Himalayans for more than 20 years!  They helped us get started by giving us good advice to bring out the exceptional qualities of the Persian Himalayan Breed, especially about Premium Cat Foods.  Our small cat families allows us to give the kittens the attention they need to develop their sensitive disposition for their future families to enjoy.

I had always felt that Himalayan cats were one of the most beautiful cats you could buy.  I owned my most recent one for ten years and sought to purchase another after she was gone.  However, since they were so costly, I postponed my decision for awhile until I found one that was less expensive and took her into our home.  Unfortunately, we lost her to a urinary infection and from that point on decided not to take any more chances with local breeders. 

After looking around, we found the FlamePointCat.com website.  The breeder was very nice and professional and although we had reservations about sending money over to the States, we soon had no doubts when we met her and found her to be very honest.

 We brought our kitten home and named him Goliath and found we could pick him up and play with him very shortly after.  Goliath was very patient with our three boys who love to pick him up and hold him in their arms.   He has the perfect balance between being interactive and taking time for himself as a pet.  He amazes us by rolling on his back and putting all of his paws in the air as if to say “Look at how beautiful I am!”  We see this as demonstrating that he was raised in a very safe and secure environment.

Although the purchase seemed expensive at the time, we are now very happy that we bought him from FlamePointCat because it has been so well worth it.  He is a beautiful little purring machine!
